Rosemellyn Fisheries is a former clay mine that has remained dormant and untouched for over 100 years.
The result is a spectacular natural fishing lake of around 6 acres designed for experienced sporting carp angler with water depths up to 36ft.
200 carp were introduced to the lake over a 5 year period between 2012 and 2017. The lake record is 26Ib 2 caught summer 2023.
We have seen much bigger but they’ve not been caught!!
